Recycling is so Rock 'n' Roll

What is more Rock ‘n’ Roll than running a marathon whilst slam dunking a Princes Gate Mineral Water bottle into the recycling bin at Rock ‘n’ Roll Liverpool? Nothing else in our eyes.

Runners

We are super proud to be the ‘Official Water Supplier’ to Rock 'n' Roll Liverpool and what’s more, they’re just as recycling mad as us. If you didn’t know already, we sort of boss the recycling game here at Princes Gate. The tarmac for our carpark is made out of recycled water bottles for example, our uniforms too and of course our eco range is made completely out of 100% recycled plastic. This range is special to us, we like to call it ‘Our Greenest Bottle Ever’, because he really is just “All Green. No Mean”.

Sorry we digress, we just get a little excited when it comes to recycling.

The reason we’re so proud to be supplying our lovely natural mineral water to Rock ‘n’ Roll Liverpool is because together we are encouraging all runners to recycle on course and become the almightiest marathon runners of all time.

So you can become… (Queue drum roll)…

A "Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Recycling Superhero"

So, what is a Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Recycling Superhero you may ask?

Well, it is someone that is near super human already to be able to run a marathon, but what gives them those extra powers to get them to superhero status is that they recycle on course whilst running.

Sounds very superhero like to us.

Why do we want you to recycle on course?

Well firstly, refer back to the title - “Recycling is so Rock ‘n’ Roll. No jokes aside, it actually is. Because, if we do not recycle our water bottles then we can’t give them another life. And this makes us very sad.

Our bottles are all 100% recyclable and made up of at least 50% recycled plastic. However,  we don’t want to stop there and we need your help. Together, we need to ensure recycled plastic continues to go into the supply chain, so we can create this beautiful thing called a circular economy.

So please join us on our mission and remove the need to use new, virgin plastic. Please, give our bottles another life.

And there’s more…

If that wasn’t enough, Rock ‘n’ Roll Liverpool also take this green game pretty seriously and together the more bottles we recycle, not only may these bottles go into another bottle for your next event, but maybe even your t-shirt or medal lanyard at your next Rock ‘n’ Roll Liverpool organised event. We know, pretty cool, right?

But that is why we need your help. So when you’re on course this weekend, please make sure you hydrate, crush and shoot for the recycling bins.

You’re a hero!
